The secret to a good relationchip is….Salsa

It’s no secret that I live for hot and spicy food. Chilli always seems to make its way into my recipes, and this one was no exception.

Now, on top of hot and spicy food, you know I am a big potato chip fan. BUT EXCUSE ME, MOVE OVER POTATO – because what I’m about to introduce to you is next level DELISH.

Meet Tika Artesan Chips. My new mates are handmade in Chile from exotic vegetables, are 100% natural and are without a doubt one of the crunchiest chips I’ve ever had. And do you know what I dig? That they’ve made beetroot chips. Drool.

Tika Chips are gluten free and are available in three flavours – Patagonia, Furiosas and Merken.

They’re so good that I decided to team up with Tika to bring you my quick and easy but super tasty salsa recipe. If you love chips and dip, or chips and salsa, or salsa on a teaspoon, you’re gonna love this.

Here’s what you’ll need:
1x can of tomatoes (chopped or whole is fine, just remember to crush them if they’re whole)
1 tsp of crushed garlic
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 a cup diced red onion
1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
1 tsp of chilli paste
1/2 cup of corn kernels – canned or frozen
Diced Jalapeños (I used the Delamine sliced ones, about four of them. I recommend you add as many as you can handle)

On a medium to high heat, lightly saute your onions and garlic. Lower the heat, add the canned tomatoes, and all other ingredients and simmer for approx 15 minutes. Remove from the heat, place into a heatproof dish (jar or bowl) leave it to cool until it is safe to refrigerate.

Once it is completely chilled, remove it from the fridge and serve it up with a huge bowl of Tika Chips! Told you it was easy.
